The Founder
Golden Leaves was founded by Shan Minol Fernando, BSc (Hons) — a bio-aesthetics consultant who saw that Sri Lankan offices wanted greenery but had no way to keep it alive. Plants were bought, admired for a month, and quietly thrown away.
The answer was a different model entirely: don’t sell plants — take responsibility for them. Rent living greenery on a subscription, visit it weekly, rotate it monthly, and guarantee the result in writing.
Today that model cares for hundreds of plants across the head offices, studios and campuses of Sri Lanka’s leading organisations.
